The biggest mistake KU ever made was firing him. He brought a REAL passion to KU football for the first time in my lifetime. His teams were plain tough.

@14691 Mangino was a good coach...But Snyder also managed to pull 11 win seasons 6 out of 7 years with a Fiesta Bowl Championship, 3 Big XII North Championships as well as a Big XII Championship...Mangino wasn't given enough time to prove whether or not he was the better coach but to say he's better than Snyder based off of one New Years Bowl or better campared to however many Snyder has been to and won isn't really that strong of an argument...But yes he was a good coach nonetheless...
