This has been a favorite for me & my family and is a fun meal to make. It is a combination of marinated pork cubes and clams with potatoes.

Carne de Porco à Alentejana is one of the most important and traditional pork dishes of the Portuguese Cuisine. It originated from the Alentajo region of Portugal. Alentajo is known for raising free roaming young pigs on diets of acorns.

  • where in massachusetts did you say the resturant is?

  • This restaurant, Primavera Restaurant & Cafe is located on East St. Ludlow, Massachusetts. Another good Portuguese Restaurant in Ludlow is Mateus, located on Worcester St.

  • Hey Cook daddy how about introducing Migas to the peoples of the USA? No self loving admirer of portuguese cuisine can go without Migas, either like the alentejan people do it, or the Ribatejan( my favorite of all of them) or Migas á Moda do Porto! =P Portuguese Cuisine is a World onto itself..so many choices so little time=)))))

Also please review the tags on your videos! WE are not Latinos or Hispanic!=P

  • yes, never use beer to do Carne do Porco á alentejana, thats a big no no...White wine, always!

  • you cant make typical and rustic portuguese food(the best) without putting you hands in it! lol=P

Whats so wrong about using your hands to make your food, so long as they've been washed first? its not like humanity had ultra clean cooking tools for the last 10 thousand years, and guess what? we survived=)

Ultra artificial hygiene is a thing hygiene obcessed people invented in the XXth century, its not that they are wrong, but they over do it most of the time!

  • Nooooo!! Beer??? You have to cook it with white wine!! Beer always as last resort.

  • Keep your hands off my food :D and let the man speak.
