Tuned RX-7 VS Cusco Subaru LM - Race Battle - GT5 Online - Zargon23 -

What amazing battle till the last corner we had in a random race online on Cote Azur Circuit.The race had rules: max 510 Penality Point and no controls.The rest was free so we had Race Soft tyres, enough for 4 Laps.
So just to think about,made to smile to think that an outdated car "Home made" the Rx-7 could have a chanche to win the race, but that was!
The most difference betwen the cars are the engine type,the weight, and the wings.The rest is about drive skills and the experience on that track.
The Subaru have more Grip because the special adjustable Race's Wings front and rear so it was more fast on corners.The Rx-7 was home made,that mean not a LM race version,that difference put the car to be less improved for corners,and that is the point.We also haven't alot time to test the circuit just less than few min to setup the car.So knowing about The Subaru "wings" and the good downforce that it have had to work hard (and fast) on Suspension setup calibrating the weight transfered on front and back.That made me be good on corners till the first 2 laps cause have to remebr that the penality was 510 Point max so I had to encrase the weight of the car and put down the Power to be in the 510PP.Had to put on car 200kg more to dont take off the only downforce that I had on back tail (the only adjustable and also it have less escursion-max 28 back- than a LM Race car that can go up to 35/40 on front and 45/55 on back)also if alone wasn't a big deal..First 2 laps were good but fromt he end of the third one I started to lose Grip(for the tyres consume worsing also for the encrased weight) and then the Subaru had an overtake on me.It had also usured tyres but the "wings" there doing the difference making the Subaru fast on corner mroe than I could.So from the third lap till the end I had to Push hard the car over the limits helping myself on corners with a (dangerous)soft touch on handbrake,but that made me losing speed revving out the corner to try to get enough traction and stay on the track(that made me to go slow).In the end the RX7 resisted till last lap and won! :D
On begin we were more than 5 but as they got that culdn't even get near us in 2 laps they left the race so I mentioned in the clip what I call "the survivors" that didn't gave up and staid till the end ;)
