thank you for this easy to follow demo.

Thank you ScribeSK; I had about 15 fountain pens at one time, but started giving them away because of frustration. Tired of cleaning them constantly (with poor methods...) and still not being able to write smoothly. Had been told that as long as I left them with the ink 'down' towards the nib, they would not dry;if so, could clean them by 'bathing' the nib in warm water. False. Started giving them away... Did not know the 'secret weapon;' it is the difference that made the difference.

I noticed your J. Herbin inks on the desk...my favorite! My very favorites would have to be "Bleu Myosotis," "Vert Empire," "Poussière de Lune," and "Terre de Feu." They write so well!

Thank you! I'll do your method!

Nice trick, thanks!

Wont it rust if you leave the pen pieces in water?

in the beginning of the video that thing behind looks like a shot.

What is the background music to this useful instructional video?
Thank you very much, I was hoping to not have to disassemble the feed and nib, but I went for it with a gentle pulling of 'F&N' and it came away fairly easy. A little soak and some action with a toothbrush took all the dried ink out of there. The pen is all reassembled and is working fantastically.
Once again, thank you very much.

I gotta ask... where did you get the syringe?

@choatey15
This kind of syringe you can get in an ink jet refill kit, which you can buy at any good computer store that sells printer ink. Or you can get them on-line, as well.
