Does that elevator have independent service?

Just thought you might like to know, the other key switch is called Hoist Way Enable. It allows you to run the cab even though the doors are open. It's a mechanic's use key. I would highly recommend not messing it, because if not used properly you could mess up the elevator opertion. You could seriously injure yourself or possibly fall into the pit.

How does a service person access the elevator shaft, if there's no door in the machine room to it? Is there a hatch in the top of that elevator? Or is there another door that leads to the shaft somewhere else?

No, it doesnt have independent service...and you would get onto the top of the elevator by opening the shaft door one floor above the car...

And, no, I can not copy the keys, because I don't know who ya are and the keys are not mine to keep. I borrowed them from the office with permission.
