LYRICS

The turn of the century, that's turning out wrong.
No matter what words they say, you can rest assured.
The stinging wind, surrounding is.
Pulling strings, and clipping wings, I knew there was no time.
We can dream, and speak through sleep, and in our minds, pick out the signs.
I ruined all the lines.

The turn of the century, that's turning out wrong.
No matter what words they say, you can rest assured.

She comes over to me, and takes a seat right across from the sea.
She answers questions and pulls from the deep.

Calling out to the sun, to the sun.
Freeze frames were intended, but lacking funds.
If you knew you'd suffer. I'm making it up.
Eyes that speak when feeling, nothing's solved.

Lost my sense of direction, de-railed, eject, off the starboard side.
Who am I to demand their lives? Their fate is mine.
Will I survive?

So sweet you called, but I won't answer...

So sweet you called, but I won't answer...
Force-feed your ego compactor...
And let go! And let go!
If my reputation precedes me,
then I'm staying here comatose.
You get your way, I'll get on mine!

Shutter at the sight of the front door, my heart might stop.
As thin as innuendo I stare through her windows.
Play the night away, I play the night away for fear of nothing to win.
You asked for my opinion? I'm keeping my hands to myself!

  • @Macycrystal don't you mean you would have sex with Thomas Erak until YOU had no asshole left?

  • @bigace511 Other than the fact that it's a pretty clever palindrome I haven't found any real meaning to the title.

  • The Fall of Troy > dance gavin

    Its simple math guise

  • does this have an coorespondence to the creation of the Panama Canal, ive always wondered

  • @LaynaLeea Yo. Dance Gavin Dance is my favorite band of all time. I saw them on the 17th of February with Kurt Travis and Matt Geise subbing for Craig.

I fucking mark that day as one of the best shows I've ever been to.

Okay, I KNOW that they're not the same band and they have very different elements. BUT. They have a few similar ones as well. And well, Fall of Troy had to influence them. The guys in DGD grew in their youth around the time TFOT came out.Think about it, explore, learn.

  • @370flip really , most of the people listening songs like this has has very good taste and musical knowledge

( sorry , my english is not too good, i'm from mexico :3 )

  • @ViceCrucify Yeah just heard it with headphones for the first time yesterday, interesting

  • @iamtheSeme ...No . The fall of Troy is NOTHING compared to Dance Gavin Dance , kurt AND jonny's voices are way better . I can't believe you even thought that .

  • Other rock bands can try their whole career, but no one is fuckin' with the last 3 minutes of this jam.

  • BREAKDOWNS before they got gay
