T.D. Jakes Pimping for TBN, part 2

On night 1 of the 2007 TBN Revival Praise-a-thon (April 8-13), T.D. Jakes twisted Old Testament scripture. To entice people to give any money they had left to TBN. He claimed that they needed to move while the "anointing" was moving. And giving TBN money could save their marriage, help their child, give them back all that they lost, birth what they dreamed to birth, have what they dreamed to have, save their business and so on. You name it, he was telling you to hit the phones right then and there and all would change.

This time Jakes abused 2 Kings 6:1-7. Read Titus 1:5-11.

Oh, gakembu give it a rest. Nobody is above reproach, ESPECIALLY people like jakes who preach an unadulterated false gospel. You obviously spend very little time working on YOUR "walk with GOD," since you haven't the spiritual discernment to recognize this bona fide false teacher. You go ahead and worship this man to your hearts content, but you will NEVER silence those of us who know with 100% certainty that this man is a false teacher to the nth degree. So, like I said, give it a rest

What are you talking about? You certainly are deceived. "Bishop" T.D. Jakes is a false teacher. The doctrine of the Trinity is one of the oldest and most basic teachings of Christianity. All the way back to the Apostles and the early Church. And guess what? Jakes denies it, denies it, and denies it. He believes that God just manifests in different forms. Sometimes He is the Son, sometimes the Spirit, other times the Father. That is a very old false teaching known as modalism.

PREAAACHHHH. i feel bad for all the guys making negative comments about bishop. if you took half the time to work on your walk with GOD instead of analysing men of God, u wouldnt be this cynical. If whateva his preaching isnt for you, just move on or change the channel. u may curse all you want at river but that wont stop it from flowing.

Yep thats right, twisting scripture or not the bible tells us about the Godly principle of sowing and tithing regardless of who you give to. The bottom line is, is that God is faithful and will never abandon you, but by releasing your faith you therefore activate his grace not only through finance but in how you live n love or walk with God, giving in dire circumstances is a sign of your trust in God regardless of the season because you know that in the end Jesus will come through.
