Overhauling an old Tenor Pan

This is an overview of the steps I took in refurbishing a pan from the 70's that was sent to me by a customer. The video shows a "before" and "after" look at the pan, as well as clips of the work done. The drum needed to be completely rebuilt as there was no mileage in retuning what was already there. The most significant improvement was gained by smoothing and re-shaping the steel between the notes.
