@alexreedthompson It turns blue because perhaps you are leaving the toner in too long. When it happens, it usually crosses over and acquires the base tone...in your case the blue.

what did you use to tone your hair with? I cannot find anything to make my hair gray! I think I bleached it too light, I used to keep it paper white so now when i try to make it gray it just turns blueish :/
