Page 29 says from fastest to slowest for one-handed weapons:

daggers, swords, axes, maces.

And the same order from lowest to highest damage.

You're doing seventeen damage with your Hunting Bow and Iron Arrow combination. The damage value is always the damage of the bow plus the damage of the arrow.

If the bow does 9 damage and the arrow does 8 damage, then you'll deal 17 points of damage per shot landed on the target. The Damage stacks.
