Bill Clinton talks to Harry Smith about the President Bush's speech, the state of our economy and why he believes Sen. Barack Obama's plan is better for ordinary Americans.
@B1aDK I sure did :) I'm just so obsessed with this bank bailouting stuff. I'm really scared Denmark will take a blow if something goes wrong like in 2008. The country is nr. 19 on CIA's list over countries in debt, above friggin' China! Not per capita, but total debt owed.
@B1aDK Well. I moved to Denmark in 2005, from Iceland and I'm seeing exactly the same behaviour here now as I saw back home prior to the crisis "Lend here and lend there!"
The difference now is that the whole system is much more fragile and there is a halt in the danish housing market. A halt can lead to blow back and frankly, a tiny economy like the danish, wont stand a chance if something goes wrong in the bailout process in the EU.
I hope I'm wrong, Denmark is a great place to live and work.
@zrac09 not even the bankers can destroy America (although i do appreciate the reference in your comment) - of the people, by the people, for the people - we shall prevail -
One of the main problems in the policies of Scientology is a lack of compassion. When someone is sick, confused, or sad, instead of offering a helping hand, Scientology blames the person and accuses them of doing something wrong to "pull in" the misfortune. Sympathy is, after all, below 2.0 on their tone scale.
The Gold standard may not allow for rapid economic growth but it would provide confidence and thus avoid "boom & bust" economic extreme cycles. Slow steady ongoing growth for long term prosperity.
2009 was a crash

@HolliValsMusic I think you misunderstood my post :) - I was talking about an insurance company, not the crisis
