1993 version by the Illuminated Film Company in an anthology called 'The World of Eric Carle' that included four other Carle stories: The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Very Quiet Cricket, The Mixed Up Chameleon, and Papa Please Get The Moon For Me.

Lovely bit of anitmation.
This piece would work equally as well...

When one closes their eyes, and listens with their hearts, anything, and everything, become truly beautiful. Music is the embodiment of emotion, showing anger, happiness, sorrow, and joy, no matter how much one tries to conceal it. when you listen to a true masterpiece, even the coldest of hearts will melt, and open them to the true beauty of the world. When trying to see the bright side of life, Always remember to smile

  • The music in this is really beautiful and amazing! It's amazing what the composer of Wallace and Gromit can do! I wonder if the London Symphony Orchestra performed that piece?

  • @violinlovertoo I think this was an original piece by Julian Nott. Regardless of that, it's a really beautiful piece of modern classical music!

  • This short almost looks like it could've been released theatrically!

  • i love it. can't wait to show it to my students . i know they'll love it too

  • My mother is an art teacher, and has been for at least thirty years. From the day I was born it seems like she would plop me down and make me watch this. For many years she dressed up as a violinist with sprigs of color literally coming out of the violin and all over her outfit. No one understood this, mainly the people at the school called her strange. She's going back soon to teach art again, and I can bet you that this is what she will teach her students.

  • the music at the end, when the closing credits start, does anyone know the composer? It's been plagiarized by shakira 'hips don't lie'

  • 3 people can't see a song, paint music, or hear color

  • Does anyone know what this piece is called, and who wrote it?? I'm dying to put together a quartet to play this. Thank you!!!

  • @lollipopifying look up "Synesthesia"
