I had no idea this was a fatal fire until after I got home but was wondering why 217 turned up when it looked like 211 and 214 had things well under control. Then St John turned up, then the police but I wandered of home as there wasn't much to see and didn't think it looked like a very eventful fire.

  • In America theres a thing called air horns to move traffic... way faster and safer than just sirens... just saying

  • OMFG, are air horns only in america?

  • @WFD9 Yes but in America, the fire crews love to play silly buggers with the sirens.

  • @WFD9 people dont listen to them here, trust me, i face that crap every day, the regular horn works better, and the siren together, im on ambo

  • Holy shit, change the siren tone already :L

  • @G33kNZ no, we have them, people jut dont use them, me i do, i use them coming up to intersections everything,

and thats in the ambulance, im a officer for st john

  • @harrychown1989 not all all i was just commenting but people dont move over for fire and ems unlike in the rest of the world because in america people are self centered and care only if its about them

  • @WFD9 cos America do everything best eh?

  • Weird I swear the roads like a bit like what we have here in Dorset, I mean for a moment I thought this was Bournemouth that was until I noticed the licence plates looked different.

The fire department you have down-under even have the same type SCANIA that Dorset fire department has. I guess that’s why I got a bit confused? Well at least the fire was put out that’s the main point and no injuries.

  • 4 trucks nationally had tomar lights and controls as a trial. Expect to see nationwide changes when new ambulance electrical specifications are implemented.

  • Thats sucks their both hooked up down here.
