The Science Barge wins the first of three Jungle-Fusion Localvore Challenges for 2007. Using sustainable engineering, they created a self-contained "farm" that creates its own power, water and food. This controlled environment can be replicated on city roofs to feed New York City. Their hydroponic system requires no pesticides or fertilizer and creates no pollution.

ScrollinAting, your a fucking idiot! This renewable, easily accessible, and alternative energy surplus would lower overall stress on any power grid thus decreasing the cost to power ratio overall; plus releases zero chemicals that negatively affect greenhouse gases. In laymen terms, the hippies and this technology, some of which has been around since the 50s, has the ability to save you money you flipping idiot!
