"Our tradition can't be sexist. We ordain women!" My parents were married by a female pastor. :) I go to a PCUSA church. The only thing that could make this better is if there was a reference to the "frozen chosen" or Augustine theology or him awkwardly standing stalk still while singing.

no...we don't sing anything after the scripture reading! But yeah, stuff can definitely be overused.
