A friend of mine was a disc jockey & got to interview Tommy.He asked if it was a real phone number.Tommy said it belonged to a girl that had the hots for the band.She changed it shortly after the song came out.I still have the cassette tape of the interview all these years later.

it was some girl in like californias number, they didnt know it was, they dont give this # any more cuz ppl still try to call it with all different area code, thats what i heard. who knows, lol

no my mom told me that back then when this song came out there was no jenny it was there band mangers number or somthing and some guy bought this number on ebay and you can't call it beacause you need the first 3 numbers in the whole number
