Wait, so if you have no backend server how do you keep track of all sales?
I would think you need a way to keep all your orders in sync so you could pull up an order on any machine. Also it seems unsafe having your pin not blocked out.

Restaurant POS system that uses the IPAD. It runs on wifi and has 3G as backup in case the wifi goes down. THe printers print directly from the ipad so there is no server involved. Card swipe unit is directly on the ipad much like square.

What kind of backend is there? Also are they wifi or bluetooth printers?

@rudyiking Has backend server in cloud it is cloud based and printers are all wifi or ethernet enabled the future is here :)
