Always make a test account. Then if it works send over the money/items. If they take that one, oh well, and put weak test neopets in there that are useless.

It only lets you type on the screen. Like you can edit the number. But it does not edit the database, so it only appears changed. It is not a hack/scam, and it will not do anything to your account and no you cannot get frozen for trying it.
