Wow. I like Maher but his anti-vaccination stance is crazy. How can you believe in the scientific method in every other area but cry conspiracy when it comes it vaccines. Yes, big pharma makes billions off of this but just because something is profitable doesn't mean that its a conspiracy. They made money from smallpox, polio, antibiotics, chemo, etc... does that mean that those drugs are all crap because they make money off of it?

I never said you did, you petrified piece of stinking shit. I said, and I quote, "Another fact is that no respected expert is putting any effort into linking vaccines with autism or *anything like it*..." No respected expert believes that vaccines weaken your immune system, because that is a completely stupid belief that is contradicted by all of the evidence. The only people who believe this shit are fucking morons, like you. Go get run over by a lawn mower, please.

I couldn't watch the video after reading the description. Agreeing with Bill Maher is not something i'm proud of.

Vaccinations create a 6 billion dollar a year industry. We've seen articles released that the CDC has known vaccines don't work. It's about the money. And seeing the admissions from Merk and Baxter about what has been put in vaccines in the past, and what Bill Gates' Polio vaccine did to those children in India, i'll stay away and take my chances.

The funny thing is, two weeks ago, it was released to the public that the cdc has been covering it up for 30 years knowingly that vaccines do not work and are directly corrolated to autism, hep b, mental illness. So Bill Maher is right on this.

I completely agree. I'm rather confused how a rationalist such as Maher, just as you said, agree's with the entire scientific consensus on everything but vaccinations. I love Bill Maher and believe that he is a true voice of reason in today's seemingly anti-reason culture (at least in the US) but this is one thing that he is just plain and simple wrong about.

No, but it means the drugs are only effective enough to prevent these diseases or in the case of chemo, fix it, over a very, very long period. There's no profit in cures, only in just barely effective treatments.
