  • she's basically new mechanically how many k's has that new engine done?

  • the engine has done 260,000 but its had a easier life than the old one.

even the old engine had a really good bottom end, they would last forever if t they had iron heads!

  • lol I think its a bit too loud now, I'll try wrapping the area with aluminum and fiberglass

  • yep do that tappet soon and just nip the hose up it should be fine for now.

  • lol. i think you stuffed that up.....

  • "You might me a redneck if....."

  • lol nah not paranoid, just the coolant smell reminded me of the clean valve. all plugs are fine though.

so far the engine has been great, just gotta get in and do the tappet clearances next

  • lol. you still paranoid about that valve. it was just fuel from that injector leaking that made it look washed. good to see it still runs. :)

  • thats such a redneck thing to do.lmao

  • ahh yes.

ohh nice! lol :D It sounds a lil tougher than a stock BMW.

  • its loud because of the exhaust, injectors and tappets. I need to take the cover off and do the tappet clearance soon.

I cut the hole in the muffler a bit bigger so she runs nicely now. just vents the gas downward
