@bucky1902 well, then you don't know anything. rhythmic gymnastics is basically gymnastics and dance combined; it's a beautiful sport as is artistic gymnastics.

@bucky1902 you don't have to be so rude about it. in fact, im blocking you because im not going to waste my time on someone who won't be respectful to the people that take the time to train everyday to perfect a wonderful sport.

Both are extremely hard. If you asked an artistic gymnast to do rhythmic, she would most likely tear something and look like a wooden block on the floor. If you asked a rhythmic gymnast to do artistic, she would most likely break a bone and fall every two seconds. They are not the same and you can not say one is more difficult than the other.

both very beautiful, but i prefer artistic because I'm not really a fan of dancing.

I like all gymnatsics i like rg because there really flexible and ag cuz its cool but both have 1 thing in common that they giv u flexibilety and strength

I used to be an artistic gymnast for almost 10 years and AG will always be my passion. But I get really mad when people say that RG is easy or stupid. Rhythmic gymnasts are extremely flexible, graceful and elegant and they have work extremely hard to achieve that and people should respect them even if they don't like them. For me, AG is the only sport that can take my breath away but that doesn't mean that I'll insult all the other sports.

I LOVE AG its way harder then RG

The ball does more flips then the gymnast in RG!

in my opinion i think artistic is harder

I always believed that if the floor routines in artistic gymnastics were choreographed by r.g. choaches then artistic gymnastics would be even more magical than it is.
i would like to join to gymnastics club, but I can't decide between artistic and rhythmic gymnastics. plz help me! i'm flexible a lot, but i don't have any muscle mass and i'm not so strong. should i go to AG or RG???

@lindasabby well if youre rly flexible, then try rg. both require a lot strength (in different ways), but you would build it up the more you do either one. its entirely up to you. ag also calls for flexibility, too keep in mind.
