Adjustable Clubs cannot be used for tournament play, but they are great for travel, especially now that the airlines charge so much for checked bags. The highest rated club is on adjustablegolfclub (dot) com. We also have telescopic shafts for drivers, putters, and other clubs if you want to simulate a full set. Come check us out.

Found it!
Google: Urquhart Adjustable Club, circa 1895.
Possibly: U.S.A. Pat. No. 569,438, which [was] issued to Urquhart (a Scot) on Oct. 13, 1896.
This is described as one of the most popular of its day, in the book, Art Of Golf Antiques: A Photographic History Of The Art Of Golf.

At 0:35, we see the letters "HART" on the face of the club. Does this ring any bells, for collectors? It's a pretty stick!

Niblick = 9 iron; mashie-niblick = 7 iron; mid-mashie = 3 iron; cleek = 1 iron.
Adjustables are still made, and certainly still used. I've used one at the range, but never out on the links. Most seem to have shafts which are roughly the length of a mid-iron. It's virtually impossible to get anything nearing standard driver distances with them.

As a manufacturer and collector of adjustable golf clubs, I have never seen this one before. It appears to be of European design. By the number of teeth it has 5 iron settings
(p-d-4-8-w). It appears to be a forging or cast steel made before investment castings (1970s). It probably failed because of the locking button (similar to the SOLO club and
unlike the WALKERS CLUB. Zolf

Is this a promotional clip? Where can I see the golf club shown in this video.
You might find one in an antique store. As Jeeves points out - they are illegal. This is set more than 50 years ago.
