@h0wHigh12 drive one that has been run in. My previous 2.2 Astra TS in manual felt like I was driving a 1.8 corolla with no balls, but after 15,000km it felt so much better..

Hmm the size is right, the use of the big badge is always a bit like the "The bigger we make the badge the better people will think the car is" which is the direct opposite of what a big badge makes me think. A 1.4L turbo in Australian Summers? It's probably low boost so that's okay but being turbo that means more servicing and higher octane requirements and heat soak issues in summer. I think I'll prefer Naturally aspirated with clever cams or valve timing.

@juggy84 Yeah, this model is built in Oz, but the Series 1 was Korean born....no matter how you justify that it's built here now, the fac t remains it is still a Daewoo design comissioned by GM.
