Donald Watson. Live vegan since he was 18. Died at age 95 of old age. That is a pretty much a life long vegan.

Although I think it's great that you're living this way, I have to disagree that being vegan is better for your health. There are some nutrients that we get from meat and other things like milk or eggs, that are harder (and by harder, I mean like extremely difficult) to get enough of without meat and other things. We're omnivores, not herbivores.

I don't think being a vegan is extreme, I think people that try to tell me drinking milk is bad are extreme. I also think people who make comments like "how blind and mindnumbed america is now!" are extreme and a little moronic. jaycore86 is essentially saying "only vegans are open minded and we're so superior" I didn't really see his response as positive. what health improvements? many healthy people eat meat. and I've known some very sickly vegans. environmental reasons? you lost me there.
