Hi Kelly, I also have a daughter thats 1 1/2 years old with down syndrome...Its so awesome to see everything that you have accomplished..When I first found out my daughter had down syndrome I cried and thought about all the things she wouldn't be able to do...little did I know that I was so wrong...As time has gone by I've learned all the things ppl with down syndrome can do..All I can do is push her like I do my son and treat her no different....Your such an inspiration to me way to go Kelly...

Well done Kelly good on you. I directed a feature film about a young man with Down Syndrome earlier this year in Australia. Very inspiring, your story. Regards Peter

Kelly, you are truly an inspiration. I'm raising my daughter just like your parents said they raised you. I don't make any excuses for her..I just push her like I would any other child.

Kelly, i have a baby boy who is 15 months now and who happens to have down syndrome too.. i hope he will grow up to be as strong, independant , motivated, dedicated, intelligent as you are... thanks for posting this.
