@blacksheep502 Do you mean just refer to negative objections without actually giving the objection (i.e. the argument)? Or do you mean just include negative/critical arguments in the essay? If the former, that's a no-no. If the latter, that's okay, but you'll still want to consider at least one objection to your objection.

Thank you, this clears up quite a few things. I've been struggling with writers block for awhile now. I have the knowledge and thesis for my question but I can't seem to get ideas over onto paper. I decided to go back to the basics by thinking about how to structure my essays and this was a great help to me.
