That is a rare steering wheel. Early in production, they mandated the optional tilt-a-scope steeering wheel, because the stock one had a horn ring. Forbidden due to safety regulations. Although if I were going to get an older one, I'd go for a '66 or earlier. Those had separate body/frame.

5 years ago, I flew from Chicago to Oakland. Spent the night in San Francisco. Took a train to Sacramento. Took a bus to Chico. Bought a 1967 Imperial Crown Hardtop. Drove to Los Angeles thru wine country. Fixed the brakes. Then drove 2100 miles on Route 66 (what's left of it) back to Chicago. Now, I keep it in climate controlled storage from November thru April and take it out on weekends May thru October. She's not perfect. But she's completely original.
