g frank gessel is a photographer living in Los Angeles and his photographs can be viewed at http://todayseveryday.shutterfly.com/.
Along with photographing on the streets of the skid, many of the photographs in this video and on his website were made in the courtyard of The Midnight Mission where sanctuary is provided for those who have no place to go. Los Angeles has the largest homeless population in the United States.
I posted this vid to my FB page along with the following comment: So I was listening to "He Calls Home" by Candlebox while downloading some new music. I went to YouTube cuz I wanted to share the song with you all, but then came across this. An incredibly deep song in it's own right, this photographer has captured the total essence of the song on film and did an amazing job. Enjoy, and dammit lets start fixing OUR COUNTRY instead of pumping money everywhere else!
