A computer animation I made for ScienCentral, production company specializing in science and technology content. It's a colorful, stylized depiction of protein synthesis. We see tri-nucleotide codons, carrying blobby amino acids on their backs, match up with a RNA/DNA template. As they link up with template, the amino acids join the protein. The codon is then detached and floats away in the intracellular fluid. Notice how different codons can carry the same amino acid?
