  • This may seem harsh, but as a teacher this kind of playing drives me crazy. He plays most of this piece well including all the octave passages, yet he cheats the opening left hand octaves by using both hands. What's the point? If you can play the rest of this as written, you can play those. There is a high degree of technical skill here yet there is a train wreck in the r.h. passagework that is left in the vid. Why? Clearly this is edited. Practice boy, you are too good to play like this.
