  • I'm firmly in the Generation Boomerang, but I'm already retirement age - 68 and working at a menial job that I dread to go to. but the reality is that if I don't do this job I can't afford to keep my home. And my son 26 is my only child who has a job but doesn't get that much work (especially in the winter). Frankly this situation scares me a lot. I try not o think about the "future" but its hard. One thing that this particular documentary showed me - I'm certainly not ALONE.

  • We watched this on CBC. While the adult children are 'sponges' and completely self-centred, it's the parents who are to blame. They allow their adult children to sponge off them and then make excuses for them. Worst were the parents who said their son HAD to move out on his 25th birthday then let the lazy bum stay! And he KNEW they wouldn't make him move months before the so-called deadline cos it's obvious they don't back up what they say and haven't for his entire life. Parents are idiots.
