Our Prophet taught a blind man to say: "O Allah I ask you by Muhammad to fulfil my needs (Cure the blindness)". How could one dare to claim that tawassul is shirk?
Twassul is asking Allah for the need by the virtue of the Prophet or the Waliy, it's accepted in Islam.
Just as medicine is a reason for cure, tawassul is a reason for acceptance of du^a' and Shaf^ah is a reason for safety of some Muslim sinners from hellfire.

@o16004mer The arabic part talks about the virtue of the Prophet and tabarruk and tawassul of the sahabah by him.

أجمعت الأمة على جواز التوسل برسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لأدلة عديدة منها ما فعله الصحابة الكرام، ومنها ما فعله وأقره علماء السلف وكذلك علماء الخلف وعلى هذا جمهور الأمة.
