I believe the military base in the movie is supposed to be Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado.
Which was home to the U.S. strategic defense until just a few years ago. I think they are now in a smaller but equally protected facility. Somewhere near Denver if memory serves.
If you are a Stargate SG1 you must have reached the same conclusion as I have.
These two shooting locations are virtually the same at the outside of the base. So I would assume they used the same location set for both.
