I recently upgraded my computer to a Dell 630 and it works great with Premiere Pro CS4. My computer is running Vista 64-bit. I have 6MB of RAM.

  • you have a nvidia card enable cuda on it with new drivers...get premiere cs5 and avchd will run lot better

  • i dont know, didn't try, but i see on net in full hd blayback not 100% good...

but i try pinnycle 14HD today and play 100% ok, but, when make some effect on video, (b&w foe example, werry slow down and no good playback.... And, when i move some added audio track, i no see the audio waves, only begining and end of audio clip, if you anderstand.

Have Sony Vegas and play video from editing track 90% good...

Sorry on my bad language.. Do you know Croatian? HAHAHA

  • Ne ja ne. No, ja samo koristi Google prevesti ovu poruku. Volim Premire Pro najbolje. Sretno.

  • Do you try Sony Vegas 9,0, Ulead 11, Pinnacle?

When you make effect on video, dose work fine playback?

  • All those programs work just fine. I do like Premiere Pro CS4 the best.

  • @mrroboto790 I recently got a camera; and, there are no flash cameras with what I need, e.g., nightvision.

The Sony DCR series and a FEW current models have night vision, but no flash. I've experienced good quality even on rewrites.

  • @AETrainingDavid97 flash media is much better and rewriteable without quality loss. rewinding/fast forwarding with cassette can ruin it if its on the camera itself. plus they're somewhat outdated and more expensive. so yeah, check out digital/flash. you'll also find easier transport to computer and edit it later.

  • @ashomsky mostly ram and cpu

  • do you know how to get the main picture onto another screen while workng on the main screen with the editing software..

  • What graphics card do you have? Does it make much of a difference, or is it mostly the processor and RAM? I have an AMD X2 dual core processor 4200+ and 4GB of RAM on windows XP 23 bit, and my 720P AVCHD video plays back in premiere at an average rate of around 1.3 frames per second, like a slideshow. I'm researching a new computer right now, I'll probably get an Intel i7.
