Its consistent work that lost the weight. It was YOU not the program.
The Oracle isn't talking to the gods she is high on methane fumes.
The pot isn't extra powerful its laced.
You aren't getting a super powerful workout. You are suffering from minor hypoxemia because the movements inhibit your breathing.
Why do you think rhabdomyolysis is so common in crossfit?

@IskurBlast OK then my results losing 3 inches and 5% body fat were just a coincidence...and still losing after 1 month and half? and I am already athletic somewhat, so I only have 10 more lbs to lose. I have a close friend who is a personal trainer and he also says its a good program...and just advised me to do other forms of fitness to switch it up which I am doing...all I am saying if it works for me as an mma fighter who is already in better shape than the average person.

In short high exertion coupled with disrupted breathing gives the illusion of a good workout.
Tricks of the trade people. Breathing disruption is one of the most commonly used tools by trainers to trick their clients into thinking they got a good workout. Another commonly used tool is to trigger the inverse stretch reflex. You see that one a lot too. Suddenly you cant do another set and its time to leave, wow what a good trainer, next client please.

If you want to know why these kipping pull-ups tire you so its very simple. I use to be a boxer. When you are hurt and your opponent is going in for the kill one of the things you are taught to do is attack their body. You want to disrupt the rhythm of their breathing as they are over exerting themselves. It only takes 2-3 good body shots and your opponent quickly runs out of steam. This pullup works on the same principle. Its motion disrupts the natural breathing pattern.

I've never seen a weight loss program where people don't shed at least 5 pounds in a week. That is the natural response. Early results are always low hanging fruit.

@IskurBlast I would agree if I didn't show progress from this fitness system...but my progress in a month has been incredible....seems to work very well for me..also the fact that I am training my niece with a mix of supersets and crossfit workouts and she has already dropped 5 lbs in a week.

They are trying to quickly put the body in a state of extreme aerobic fatigue so you feel like you got a great workout.

That doesn't really mean anything. There are lots of tricks of the trade that can be used to quickly exhaust and or weaken body. It just takes an understanding of the body's metabolic processes. Being gassed or extremely weakened does not mean you got a great productive workout. It might only mean you got conned by someone smarter than you.

That's not good

hilariously bad
i'm new to this ... but if you're using momentum to get you to pull up .. doesn't that just take out the point of doing a pull up?

@pumitaproductions Great, good for you. So you're using my money instead. No disrespect to the armed forces but for fuck's sake.
If you want to really be in top physical shape copy a Collegiate or Pro Rugby training program. It includes the sprinting, the plyometrics, the strength, the cardio, the explosiveness, everything.
You may not want to believe this but regular pullups have a much better carry over to kips than the other way around.
