When I worked as a short order cook we pressed the burgers on the grill to speed up cooking. When I make them at home, I take more time and keep the flavorful juices inside the burgers -- no pressing. I also us a special burger mop sauce that is a real crowd pleaser.

if the burger is pretty thick press a hole in the middle about the size of your thumb. sounds wierd but it cooks terrificaly

EVERY SINGLE OTHER VIDEO on 'the perfect hamburger' All say NEVER PRESS your Burger with spatula while grilling. You will Lose so much Flavor it's unreal. Folks, Never do this!
