Well cheers on your comments, and if you look, I have started a campaign fighting against TYRANNY of the NEW WORLD ORDER to which the DeBeers family is a stauch part of.
-
@FreeinTX: This is my last comment to you. All anyone can ever do with the information that they are given, or learned, is to make the best decision with it. If you feel that everyone has the wrong idea about this then it's best that you start a campaign of some sort. I wish you the best.

You are so wrong it is OBSCENE! What percentage of "conflict free" diamond zones exists within the boundries of a country that recognizes your GOD GIVEN HUMAN RIGHTS?
"Conflict free" is a label given to diamonds that come from DeBeers backed diamond mines. It is a label they gave diamonds, alond with a multi-million dollar ad campaign, including a movie, to keep people from buying diamonds outside the DeBeers diamond monopoly.
There are diamonds all over the place. SEMI-precious!
-
@FreeinTX: Actually Certified Conflict Free Diamonds are "high quality natural diamonds guaranteed not to be obtained through the use of violence, human rights abuses, child labor, or environmental destruction". Go to the conflict free council. And about your other comment... I'll call an unbreakable carbon bond made under high pressure at high temperatures 120 miles deep within the earth over a period of 3 billions years precious any day...
If you don't like them don't buy them.

Just stumbled onto this but just so you know "confilct free" diamonds are simply diamonds certified by Debeers diamond mines, and simply means that it was dug up by a Debeers monopoly diamond mine. Diamonds are not even precious gems, but the diamond industry is a monopoly that artificially keeps the price of diamonds high. The diamonds not controlled by the Debeers monopoly are labeled blood diamonds to discourage people from buying them. ALL diamonds are blood diamonds.
-
For those who keep blabbing on about things like "Why did you buy a blood diamond" and "how many people died to get you that diamond"... have you ever heard of a little something called 'Certified Conflict Free' diamonds? Just do some research on where the company gets their diamonds and how it got to you. Don't offend others for wanting a Diamond over Moissanite. Personally I think they are both incredibly beautiful. I would purchase either one for different reasons.
-
@musicwriter83 And how much more expensive is that diamond? How many people died to bring you that diamond?
-
@musicwriter83 You're a moron. Don't rely on Youtube to justify your opinion of a stone. Go to a jewelry store and see if you can tell the difference.

i don't think i'll ever buy diamonds again after buying Moissanite!! i own 4 pieces now & the colour & clarity are excellent...there is so much fire & radiance in any light...artificial & sunlight - it's truly a wonderful gemstone.
SO happy with my purchases & even my jeweller tested them for me & said they were diamonds!! obviously..i didn't tell him the truth!!
i would recommend it to anybody!
I love my moissanite wedding set. I am satisfied... is beautiful.

It's hard to grade Moissanite with the same range as diamond. The base body color to diamond is usually off-white to slightly yellow, whereas Moissanite has a greyish green. I would say that an H-colored Moissanite will not be the same as an H-colored diamond. It's lightly greenish, versus slightly yellowish. The Moissanite would probably look better, though it would be slight. However, a diamond graded 'd' in color and flawless is going to be better than either.
