@borntophail hey i looked at beta for half life at wiki half life and it was going to be alot more realistic with the ak 47 and the Ac 130 . i want them to make a version. but also did you know they made a simple test level for hl2 in 2003 or sometime there? ya it had a graphic engine different the now it was older but there is only a few pics left of the file. the level was called "Free tv's!" and its you going over the city with combine and the civil people having a fight and people stealing

Hey beta owners I have a question. I downloaded the russian version of the beta and installed it and everything, and when i try to launch it, it says the avalable memory is less then 15 MB. does anyone know how to fix this?

It was said in the beta that you would be able to see the Wasteland and a Gargantua pass by the train or something.

Early HL2 concepts would've had the player start off aboard a train passing through the Wastelands en route to City 17, during which a series of events would've taken place. But the idea was scraped, and the maps in question were never finished.

You would also meet up with Samuel and Alyx during the time in the Wastelands.

Yeah, except I think the meeting with Alyx was going to take place when you return to the Wastelands, way further into the game.
