Palauea Beach Video Guide

I shot this video guide of Palauea Beach (aka White Rock) on my Canon XH A1, with editing done in Final Cut Pro.

This beach is my favorite on the island. It's a great place for snorkeling, paddle boarding, boogie boarding, and lots of other beach activities. Waves are generally calm, but can become variable when there's a good south swell. Snorkeling is best in the early morning. Both ends of the beach provide lots of underwater life to explore, but I found a bit more activity at the south end. The kiawe trees provide needed shade in the afternoon.

There are no restrooms or amenities here, but there's a beach park down the road near the Fairmont Kealani if bathrooms become critical.
