Patriotism & Christianity Do Not Mix

People seem to quickly invoke the idea of God and Patriotism, yet if Christians really thought about it, they'd quickly realize Jesus Christ never endorsed any government or state system or leader. (He never even endorse a church either.) When people try to mix God and pride in their country - it balks at the very message of Christ while on the earth. Christ said, "You cannot serve two masters", so now you have something to think about, and you need to chose - do you serve God, or do you serve your country? You support the troops, but not the war? Who is fighting the war? THE TROOPS.
