My afghans would run like this together too---their favorite thing was to feel the wind in their faces as they ate up the countryside running!!! They are great dogs.

These dogs are so happy and beautiful. I can’t wait to get my first Afghan Hound….. We used to have 3 when I was a kid and loved walking them but never could let them off the lead. Subsequently what’s the song you used for this clip? I love it… sounds like Marwais or something? xx

The dog testing bit is a tad off topic, for which I will just say as a scientist myself I would not test on dogs, especially gorgeous Afghans!! I have no reason to at all, but if it came down to it I would rather test on a dog than myself. The only things I've worked with in school were C. elegans, which aren't that big of a deal, and I learned a lot from them.

gotch09; Close. Snow leopards. The hunted in pairs, a male and a female. Our Rochester NY police Dept was told yrs ago to take special precaution with Afghans because of their 'punishing' jaws.

Our Hounds were clowns and goof balls. Endless fun.

Yes it's a heartbreak. For years after, I wondered if he was being mistreated or suffering. When I advertised, I had an interesting response from a semi-professional dog tracker. he said that the highest number of missing dogs are in areas where there are medical schools that use dogs for testing. The labs are supposed to only use homeless dogs from the pound, but they pay and don't check.

Regardless. Dogs trust humans. No dogs should be used for testing. Make testing on ALL DOGS ILLEGAL
