    The blade was definitely too long.

    The second guy sucked at using a recip saw.

    He was holding it like a "sword" and making the blade do all the work without marrying the saw unit to the glass. In a plunge cut like that, he needs to seat the shoe against the face of the glass so the blade has cutting leverage. Used properly, a sawzall against windscreen glass would be like cutting through toilet paper.

  • They should have continued to cut through the A-pillars so they could fold the roof back for the extrication.

  • They look like the germans cutting out a windshield..lol... Its for a fireman's drill. So these guys dont care. And they shouldn't. Its all about saving a life. but yes its quicker than a long knife.lol
