@cmeonthemove they were doubleheaded due to the weight of the train and route it was taking as had some gradients to negotitate, certainly made a great sound - I would imagine the ETH was supplied by the lead locos routed through the 90 - the rear 67 I was told at the time was for 'shunting' purposes

Excellent footage there Ian, and well done for filming at some unsociable hours. I've done the southbound diverted sleepers at Peterborough and Conington, but only with 90's up front - was at work when these triple 67's ran sadly.

@trainfart thanks very much :) in case you don't know 67005/6 are assigned to the Royal Train when that runs hence them carrying the Royal livery - so was good of the organisers to pair those two together and real surprise to see them.
