.And don't you think the cats would LIVE a happier life with the shots they need and not having competition for food and shelter?

Let me ask you this...if it was an 18 year old girl who just gave birth to her second child out of wedlock, no job, and no help from the father(s), wouldn't you say the best thing to do is have her tubes tied? Don't be a hipocrite either, other than species its the same thing.

@jackrakino why are u sooo durrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

@Herimia stupid

wait so these animals are introduced? Why dont u just kill them, in australia feral cats are a major problem you either set traps that kill them or go out shooting urself.

@hotdoggy06 The description for this video is poor. This video is part of a series about TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return). It's for people who wish to work with others in their neighborhood to humanely control the stray & feral cat population, not to trap & kill them. If obtaining help from a group, you should always ask what their policies are.

well what if you catch nothing then what happens duh!

If they are a introduced species in Australia doesn't mean they can be swept from the face of earth for the reason you've mentioned. May I remind you they are the most precious animals in Egypt from ...God knows... 10.000 years AC (ante Christum) ? So, they've been on this earth long enough to deserve respect as any other animal.
I'm well out of USA !

Interesting, but very misguided actions on behalf of the person who placed the video...
I had a problem with feral cats in the CBD of a major city, so I rang the local Cat Protection Society for help...
They trapped them, and euthenased them.

de-sex and release is flawed in a country like Australia as the animals go on killing - the natives species here have no defenses against cats as they are introduced and it's too soon for them to have evolved a survival strategy against them. You can't compare a feral cat (alien) to a lion in it's native environment either, doosh. No one complains about the wholesale destruction of the crown of thorns starfish eating the barrier reef to death - they aren't cute are they?
