I cried all the way through this video from the moment Tim Burton opened his mouth right until the end. The Cure are the biggest influence in my life, and also one of the most important things in my life. Thank you Robert, and please never die!!

Tim Burton says he really loves Robert's work... then why did Robert just sing a track from Burton's Alice in Wonderland and it was a cover? He could've written the whole soundtrack himself or at least participate with one original song...

I had to watch this again... and this video still gives me butterflies. Robert's speech was beautiful.
The Cure truly is the best band... and I don't think anyone will ever be able to top their music.

I can't imagine how different my life would be if the cure wernt around they have really changed my life they just show so much emotion in everysong one moment you want to get up and dance and smile next minute you want to cry, Robert smith writes such beautiful lyrics and I hope I will get to see them some time in my life ;)

To me there really is not anything even quite better really and I know if they shall stop making music that is sad however but,totally irrelentvent really because how can we exspect so much when they have already given so much already! I do believe Robert will alway's make music however that is just what he does and who he is as a person really and even if it's not for my ears. I know wiyhout a doubt it will be beautiful and mind blowing I exspect nothing less.

i think the finger as an award is really supposed to represent basically, a "fuck you" to mainstream music, as it's basically an indie awards show.
