This is the unused music Alex Noth composed for the space docking sequence of 2001: A Space Odyssey. Stanley Kubrick chose to stick with his "temp" track of Johann Strauss' The Blue Danube.
I'm sorry but this music feels so unfitting, and plus had this music be in the final product, it would just stay as a 60s flick other than a timeless classic...
I vote for North...this is light and playful and for me the waltz is too corny! I love what North did here, but it could have been longer.
