So what's this?
Well, ABC.com had a contest before Comic-Con 2009 where fans of Lost could submit fake theme music for the show. My brother Mat and I (Grape Soda) took a stab at the contest but of course missed the deadline by a day. What to do? Soldier on of course! So we enlisted Jesse (another of my brothers) to help assemble this "What-If?" opening from an alternate history where Lost was created and aired in 1967 as a campy sci-fi action series.
Obviously ABC owns Lost and this is a loving tribute made by fans. ABC retains all rights to the images used. Do us a favor and take it in the spirit in which it was intended.

@hollowdrunk He was a good leader in season 1, after that followed 4 seasons of him whining, not doing anything relevant and blaming everything on Locke and Ben. In season 6 Jack finally started to DO something, and that actually was following in Locke's footsteps. So, if anyone should be called the main character of the series, it's friggin' John Locke, as he was central in both Jacob's and Monster's plans and actually DID most of the important stuff throughout the series.

I'm not sure I see Tarantino in this as much as I see Guy Richie's influence. Cool vid.

Locke, Desmond, Ben, Faraday and Sayid WERE main characters. Only Mikhail had a supporting role. If you are referring to Jack, well, he was really relevant only in seasons 1 and 6. And face it, even then that guy was just annoying xD

We wrote and recorded the song just for this video so we just called it: Theme from the television program Lost - 1967
The band is Grape Soda (I directed the video & play drums in Grape Soda plus guitar on this song).
