KFPS Friesian Stallion Thomas 327

2nd try - hopefully better quality: Thomas died this month (Nov 2006). He was a favorite of mine and I will really miss him. At least I have one of his daughters and Tara, his granddaughter. Here he is in his glory days - Stallion Show 2003, Friesland.

Quick note - Thomas was a one of those rare KFPS approved stallions. We did not own him (no way could we afford one of those approved stallions!). But we did admire and love him from afar. I was able to pet him for an hour one day in his stall in Friesland (he lived in the Netherlands and was owned by people there). What a total sweetheart.

@Jerrespi By the way, the older my horse gets the more she looks and acts like Thomas. What a very sweet horse he was. I wish he were still living.... Glad to hear you have a Thomas mare. Great horses and hard to come by.

I miss Thomas too. The thing is, not only was he a wonderful mover, his personality was just A+. Now that my Thomas daughter is a little older I see more of Thomas' personality in her. And she has also become as black as ink.

This stallion was mare mare's sire. I just got her May 5, 2007 and I've been trying to find out about her parents...

My mare Dahlia is a Thomas daughter. Like her daddy, she loves to be in harness. I love Thomas horses and I am very sorry he is no longer here.

@atrevidoxxviii I don't know much people or horses yet in that part of the equestrian world of the Friesians here in Holland or somewhere else.. And Dutch Harness Horses are pretty handsome too, some of them ^^

And I bet he was! Even the more 'normal' typed Friesians look pretty with their movements.. Or I must be simply amazed, haha xD

@GoatBlaat I saw Thomas at the stable of a trainer named Roelof(sp?) back in 1996. I went there to look at Dutch Harness Horses. He was quite the handsome horse!

Thomas is lovely, My friend is Getting a Thoroughbred mare whom is in foal to X-Rated, Thomas 327 's Son. I am proud that X-Rated is as beautiful as his father, He is stunning, im so sorry for your loss, we lost our little welsh foal and that ripped us appart so i know how you feel, But again he is georgeous xx
