Wow, I just watched this game on MLB Network. Well, actually, I got in my lil' pad just in time to catch (again, who caught that damn ball?!) the last three innings. So I definitely saw Boone rocket that piece again. Man...I still kinda hate myself for not watching that enitre game on Thursday night, October 16th, 2003. I turned it off after BIG POP-UP cracked that ball off of Boomer. But I damn sure saw those highlights on Friday the 17h of '03! I woke up at 4:30 in the morn and saw it on...

...fuckin' Headline News! I was buggin' out, man!!! I seriously could not believe that shit, yo. And I didn't even know who Aaron was like that (I had heard of Bob & Bret by that time). But I sure as fuck knew him by 10:00 o'clock that October Friday night (17th) back in '03. :-)
And it was obviously a day of mourning in DEAD-sox nation that day. And, not surprisingly by that time, shitty ESPN. They had to show HO-mar kicking a soccer ball in front of the green monster with Mia Hamm. LOL...

@tommynicks actually Boston fans remember 2003 quite well, we remember Josh Beckett and the Marlins celebrating in Yankee Stadium
it's the Yankees fans who act as if Boone's HR won the World Series for them, the Yankees players seemed to feel the same way based on how they lied down against the Marlins
