Black & white footage of the "Highlands" car of the Holyoke Street Railway of Holyoke, MA traveling up Dwight St. This film was shot sometime in the late 1930s, just before the trolley system was dismantled. Footage is courtesy of the Holyoke History Room and Archives of the Holyoke Public Library.

  • @boazrg lol, i hear that. i left holyoke 4 1/2 years agoand moved to central florida.

i grew up in jackson park way for the first 10 years of my life and that really sucked.

  • @panterajoey These films were made in the days when Holyoke (And Lynn, Springfield, Lawrence, Brockton, etc, were civilized places inhabited by civilized people!

  • This is amazing
